George E. Willock

George E. Willock has been in the charitable planning field for the past 29 years.  He started a charitable consulting firm continuing his career working with Auburn University as the Director of Planned Giving, and is currently working with an international private university as a consultant in fundraising and strategic planning. 

​While at Auburn University he and his team raised over $650 million in planned gifts with $98 million of those gifts coming from charitable life insurance.  In 2014, Mr. Willock left Auburn University to create Willock Coaching and Consulting as a resource and consultant to charitable organizations and to teach people how to identify and build on their strengths and to improve their relationships with others. 

Prior to George’s work in the charitable planning field, he was in the estate and financial planning field working in sales, agent training, and management. 

George has completed his Chartered Life Underwriter’s (CLU) designation, the Life Underwriter’s Training Council Fellowship (LUTCF) designation, is a graduate of the National Planned Giving Institute (NPGI), completed the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation, has earned the Accredited Estate Planner’s (AEP) designation, and is a TRACOM Certified SOCIAL STYLE Model® & Versatility Instructor.  His articles have appeared in several publications and he has authored coursework for The American College of Financial Services in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

George has been a regional and national speaker on Philanthropic Planning with Life Insurance, Building Successful Interpersonal Relationships with SOCIAL STYLES®, and Building a Successful Planned Gift Office.
